Our R & D team is focused on developing New Hybrids and Research varieties that are superior in Quality and Yield with adapting different Argo climatic Zones and Farmer’s need. We conduct demo trails of New Varieties at R & D farm and Farmer level and evaluate them in terms of Quality and Yield parameters before Launch. Intensive Hybridization and evaluation programme to develop new hybrids every year. 30 MT Germplasm Cold storage supports to R & D team for storage and maintenance of Research material for long time.

Nucleus seed is the 100 per cent true to type basic seed produced by breeder of the particular variety / Hybrid and is directly used as source seed for multiplication as breeder seed. Maintenance breeding is given top priority to maintain the quality of source seeds. Single plant selection, progeny row evaluation and bulking of healthy seeds of selected progenies to constitute the nucleus seed is the technique adopted for each parent lines. Breeder seed is produced in isolation under the intensive monitoring of plant breeders for ensuring 100% genetic purity. Foundation seed is produced in isolation under supervision of experienced plant breeders for maintaining genetic purity.
